Scale in English miles. Caption. This represents the movements of the troops on the 27th and 28th of July 1813. Tit. of the cover: Movements of the British Army during the war, from 1808 to 1814. After the defeat at Vitoria, Napoleon placed Soult in command who, after unifying the army, advanced to put an end to the blockade of Pamplona. On the first few days he managed to advance although on the 28th he was forced to fall back.
