"H.M. visited everything at length, witnessed several unusual tasks from her festooned grandstand; she saw them form the phrase, Long Live the Queen, in liquid, incandescent iron, and she also saw how they built a piece of Bessemer steel rail in just a few minutes [which was offered to the Queen as a souvenir]".
