Notes:
Autographed. Identical image to the one produced by Isidore Magués in 1837 for "Don Carlos et ses defénseurs". There is a damp stain on the top left-hand edge. Named bishop in 1824 he backed the carlist cause and became one of the most prestigious figures in Carlism and held high-ranking posts during the 1st Civil War. After the Bergara Agreement he emigrated to France.
